The Parish Education Commission recommends policy affecting programming for our parish school (K -8) and Religious Education Program. This advisory commission is subject to policies and regulations that are handed down from the Office of Catholic Schools and Office of Evangelization and Catechesis. Members work in close conjunction with our pastor, school principal, and director of religious education, each of who serves in an “ex officio” capacity on the commission. Members serve for a three-year term (renewable to six years at any one time). Meetings are once per month from September through May, with additional ad hoc committee meetings as needed. Monthly meeting are held (usually) on the first Tuesday of each month, September through May, and average 1 1/2 to 2 hours in length. The Education Commision is headed by Michael Schultz.
